Game does not capture keys properly in FireFox

all of the alphanumeric + symbols fall through, meaning that the game gets the event then handles it and then passes it along to firefox. This is not something i want since this opens a quick search all the time.

As an alternative use the mouse to navigate.

in firefox in options, there is a way to turn off, but should i have too? since other web games don't have this problem

I'm a bit confused on the issue here. It works in Firefox fine for me without any special options in the browser changed.  You can't like hit wasd to move around?
